GOTS certified hemp fabric: Lightweight woven fabric made of 100% hemp in plain weave. The fabric from the future fiber hemp!
The smoothly woven fabric is summery light, particularly breathable and extremely fast drying! Thus, this hemp woven fabric is ideally suited for summer clothing, but also looks super nice in home decoration, for example, as a curtain fabric.
The fabric becomes softer and more flowing with each wash.

Care instructions:
- Handwarm wash or gentle cycle up to 40°C with mild/wool detergent.
- Tumble dry at low temperature (gentle)
- Iron at low temperature
- Do not dry clean
- do not bleach
Always iron when slightly damp!

Hemp (cannabis sativa) was once the most widely used plant in textile production. Displaced by cotton and crude oil fibers, it has been cultivated again in some European countries for a few years.
Hemp plants are inherently insensitive to insects and diseases, so cultivation does not require the use of any pesticides. Herbicides against weeds are also unnecessary, since hemp grows very quickly. In addition, hemp requires much less water for its rapid growth than, for example, cotton plants.
The hemp plant is a soil improver and low water consumer, the up to 2m long roots get their water needs from the soil.
Special properties of hemp fibers:
Hemp fibers have the same micro-electrical voltage as our skin, which is why hemp fabrics are particularly suitable for people with sensitive skin.
Hemp absorbs moisture very well and also releases it excellently.
Hemp has a temperature balancing effect. The fibers warm well in winter and have a cool effect on the skin in summer.
Hemp has antibacterial properties.
