Slub Linen Blend WARM SAND: fabric made of 82%Tencel™ Lyocell, 18% linen (EU origin).
A new version of the previously known Tencel linen slub from meetMILK. The new "composition" is a bit lighter, thinner and truly super soft - a "skin flatterer".
Very supple and beautifully flowing in the fall, breathable and silky soft on the skin - ideally suited for clothing such as blouses and dresses, wide skirts and pants, but also wonderful as a home decoration fabric, for example, for curtains.
Origin of the fiber: Austria, Lenzing company.
Sustainability and certification: Tencel™ Lyocell is currently considered one of the most sustainable fibers in the textile sector. Lenzing was the first fiber producer worldwide to be awarded the EU Ecolabel for its environmentally friendly fiber production.
Renewable raw material: Tencel™ Lyocell fibers are made from cellulose, a building block of the renewable raw material wood. According to Lenzing, the wood used for Lyocell fabrics comes mainly from sustainably and legally managed forests (FSC-certified). The fiber is a regenerated cellulose fiber: natural, renewable raw materials are processed industrially.
Compostable and biodegradable: fabrics made of Tencel™ Lyocell - without spandex! - are biodegradable.
Resource consumption: For the entire production process of Tencel™ Lyocell, attention is paid to the conservation and circular reuse of water: https://www.lenzing.com/de/nachhaltigkeit/ressourcen/wasser/ For the production of Tencel™ Lyocell, significantly less water is required than for the production of cotton fibers or man-made fibers.
Please follow these important care instructions to ensure you enjoy these beautiful fabrics for a long time:
Washing: 100% Tencel™ Lyocell fabrics please wash separately at max. 30°C, light hand wash without heavywringing/pressing or machine wash for silk without spin program.
Detergent: ecological mild detergent for wool/silk .
Drying: best hang up dripping wet, please do not use a dryer!
Ironing: at level 2
Failure to follow these care instructions may result in white streaks on the fabric, which are due to the specificity of the fiber in combination with the special production process.
